Minority Engineering Mentoring

Financial Aid and Job Placement Assistance is an important component of MEP's support services. A number of financial aid opportunities are available such as the Affirmative Action Award (A 3 ) scholarship as well as various industry sponsored scholarships. The MEP staff also works with the Placement and Co-op Offices as well as with individual company representatives to place minority students in summer internships, co-ops, and permanent positions. Further, MEP maintains an active résumé file of minority students and also assists students in preparing their résumés.
