Support Services

Academic Support Services: MEP monitors schedules to encourage formation of peer study groups and student organization study tables in core courses such as Math, Physics, and Chemistry.

Advising: Academic advisors are on staff to help students with scheduling classes, career and personal counseling, and professional development.

Financial Aid: MEP offers a number of merit-based, industry-sponsored scholarships. In addition, MEP makes students aware of outside scholarship opportunities.

Job Assistance: MEP works closely with the Engineering Career Services and the Co-op and Internship Offices as well as with individual company representatives to aid students in their search for summer internships, co-ops, and permanent positions.

Awards Banquet: Since 1978, MEP has sponsored its annual awards banquet to recognize and honor its students for outstanding academic achievement and leadership development. Students, parents, alumni, corporate representatives and faculty and staff all take part in these festive occasions.
